With backgrounds in illustration and graphic design, and with experience in a range of software packages and data management, FourPoint Mapping combines artistic creativity with technical know-how to provide the best in cartographic solutions. Based in South West England, we are specialists in creating bespoke mapping products for our clients.
For over 25 years we have worked closely with a large number of unitary authorities, publishers, partners, organisations and individuals across the UK to successfully provide cartography and associated graphic design. We are proud to be the preferred supplier for Sustrans, working in partnership with them to produce the mapping content for all their publications. Some of our many clients include:
Paul Turner
Paul has been working in the creative industries since the early 1990s. His role at FourPoint Mapping involves design, cartography and project management, combining creativity with an organised approach. Paul appreciates the value of communicating with clients during all stages to ensure projects run smoothly and successfully, from start to finish.
Chas Thursfield
Since graduating in the early 1990s with an honours degree in Typographic Design, Chas has worked continually and successfully as a graphic designer and, more latterly, as a cartographer. In a career spanning 30 years he has covered pretty-much all aspects of graphic design.
Fifteen years ago he landed his dream job of creating cycle maps for CycleCity Guides - combining a love for maps with his love of cycling - and never looked back. He prides himself on his attention to detail and enjoys the challenge of turning raw data into a pleasing cartographic product that fulfils the client's brief, looks good, and works well.
