Nice little job we’ve just completed! A short while ago Cainscross Town Council (Stroud, Gloucestershire) approached us for help with creating a printed walking map.

They had devised four short, circular routes around the town to help encourage people to explore on foot, and required one easy-to-follow map that featured all four routes. They simply requested that their walks be colour-coded red, blue, green and yellow, supplied us with all the text and photos, and left the rest to us. We quickly decided on an A3 format which gave a scale of 1:6,000, established the style of the cartography, and designed the rest of the leaflet incorporating the council’s two main branding colours. A thousand finished maps were printed and will be available at various local outlets in time to coincide with a nearby walking festival.

Our client was thrilled with the outcome, and the councillor who commissioned the project very kindly gave us some positive feedback (see last image).
